Once again the evidence is against you. We are not in the same boat. Look at all the June applicants that have received AOR's within 6 weeks. Some of us are in boats and some of us are treading water.
I am not advocating physical violence to motivate anything. If you are happy to just sit and wait go right ahead. I am not because it is unnecessary to wait longer than those who applied after me.
Mp's need to look like they are doing a good job in order to be re-elected and they all want to be re-elected the perks are just too good. They are happy to have sheep as constituents. That way they get paid for doing nothing. If you are unhappy at having others processed before you you have to make those in a position to affect change aware that there is a problem.
I am a direct proactive person so that is what I make work for me. Find out what works for you and go with it. Or sit back and watch the crowd pass you by.
At the current rate that CIC is going there will not be anymore Indians in India by the time we get 1 Filipino sponsorship approved.

This last sentence with india i said a few weeks ago to my husband >< its good they are fast but it feels unfair when other vo's take so much longer having partly even less applicants. I guess theres in every country other rules and other methods to check on backgrounds thats maybe making the differences in processing times?! Then you really can only wait and hope you got an easy case and they arent terrible slow. I dont know what to think really, its just frustrating over all, maybe its just bad i can compare to other vo's and that leads to all this. If i wouldnt know i might would take it easier. On the other hand its good we can compare to see where theres things not going right, cause if you dont see the mistakes and dont complain nothing changes.

Why all this shouting over VO's .....I am a New Delhi applicant and i also filed the case same day as CJG ........No news yet .....its pure luck for some people.......while others are tested for their patience randomly ........nobody is deliberately favoured ......

But th system should not be directed by 'luck'. System is built to accommodate a convenient way to sort the problem. System should not create a new problem. CPC-M has to stop 'randomness'. That is the reason of all these hue and cry, Dear sir. Please accept the truth that CPC-M has faulty system. They should just fix it. Think about it, they used to do the job within 15-20 days in most cases in 2009. Now they are doing the same job within 90 days in most cases. Why ? same people same system.......right ? So where is the holes? need to fill up. thanks buddy.

hapy independence to all.........

Wish u all d very best............

We were discussing Stage 2. Take a look at May and June spreadsheets for Stage 2 New Delhi applicants. They are self-explanatory.

Stage 1 process is definitely broken. It should be fixed.

And don't take it personal. You (or your spouse) will land in Canada before I even get an AOR from my VO.

Agreed. Its nothing personal and of course not all of you are fast but compared to other it is, the spreadsheets show it and it cant be helped people feel treated unfair or get frustrated. But im happy for anyone no matter what vo they have if they get their visa fast!

I would also be frustrated if people that had applied after me received their stage 1 before me, especially knowing CIC policy. Having said that, I think the Feb-May 2012 period had a number of circumstances that conspired to delay some of those applications. From my understanding they are as follows:

1) The Buffalo office was closed
2) Parents and Grandparents visa timelines were getting significantly longer and some resources were diverted to reduce this timeline.
3) CIC have changed certain forms in February and this change has caused many delays in processing as applications have been returned as incomplete.

My understanding is that the Ottawa office was provided with some May and June applications to deal with the backlog. CPC-M continued with April and May apps. This may explain why some June applications received AOR's before April/May. I think I saw one June AOR in 39 days from memory. So I think this was an abberation in processing but will be corrected. Those applications that received their AOR's between 39-55 days were indeed fortunate.
The real question is why did Canada get only one GOLD medal?

This is how you should be looking at the processing problem. By shrugging your shoulders and just allowing yourself to be neglected by the system THAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR will not make anything better for you or other applicants that follow. No where in the applications that either my wife or I filled out was their any mention of "luck" being a necessary factor in receiving a PRV through spousal sponsorship.

Hi

My wife checked cic website and it was updated that they received our application on may 11. I guess this is the AOR, right? If so how much longer to get an approval? Also will it come by email or mail?

Good luck to all.

Hope stage 2 will finish fast

We are just starting to see movement after the Buffalo closure..some are still waiting from MAY2011!!!!! It has nothing to do with luck CanadianJeepGuy you are correct when you say the system is corrupt..we had this convo in the February thread and we were slammed down by others...I calculated that there are more applicants that go through the New Delhi than "Buffalo". American's are VISA EXEMPT.... Would someone like to explain to us why Most New Delhi applicants from Jan-March have gotten PPR and Landed when about 3 people have been approved Since May from DEC-JAN through Buffalo...which means FEB until now....NOTHING!!! PLease someone try to explain to us all this, i'd like to hear how this is relative to LUCK or something of the sort. We know all too well that they are fast tracking some VO's at the expense of others, and I'm really getting fed up of it!! At this rate there will not be anybody else immigrating by the time one of us Lands! I know Canada is a melting pot but many have reached their limits!

While I agree the system should be more streamlined I don't think its a matter of 'luck'. The issue is that all applicants will be slightly different. I suspect mine was processed quick because it was not a complicated case. The annoying part for all is that CIC is not very transprent so we are left to guess our own reasons.

Hi All
Though we didnt get any email from cic i checked with my husband client id , and it said application has been recieved on may 14 th .. waiting for proper email communication from cic

Mine doesn't say meds rcvd either.

Just wondering, when I went to the doc here in Canada, he asked which office the results should be sent to. I said mississagua.... now I am wondering if instead I was meant to say London. Anyone know?

Mine does say medi received. My doctor, in the us, said all medical results go to Ottawa... Maybe that's just for the states.
