The thing is, you're not the first and won't be the last... there are still people waiting from months before ours as well. I'm frustrated too, but we're not the only ones going through this so we're no one special in their eyes... it's not like anyone can speed the process up for us, and anyone who claims to is wrong. :/

This is not the correct frame of mind. They work for us. We do not work for them. Our taxes have paid for this department and on top we also pay for our individual applications.
The procedure as I've been told is to process the applications as the come in. If there or applications being processed months apart then obviously they are not following that procedure. It is completely unfair and contemptuous to treat people who have paid for this process as "no one special".

Hello

I have contacted my MP last week and she send me back an email saying they are still working on the file of April 30. She couldnt explain why people who apply after me got approve before me. To contact her if my application exceed the date show on the cic website

Sorry for my bad English its not my first language

Tell your MP that you are perfectly capable of reading the same website her aide did. What you want are results. If she is not able to provide those as an MP in your riding you and your friends and neighbours will be happy to support another candidate in the next election.

I think you can kill more flies with honey than vinegar. I wouldn't speak to my MP like that. I doubt they would even listen.

so you are a may applicant. and cic is working on applications received on april 30.
i know people who applied after you got approval but that is how it is.
dont know how cic works. even in my time people after me who applied got approvals.other than having patience you cannot do anything. you have to wait till cic changes their status and reaches the date after you , you cannot call and ask them even.
so just have patience.
others would be more lucky than you but even your turn will be coming. just relax and be calm

Relax and calm ...I just post an update for people saying they will contact their MP to tell them what mine told me. It was the same as calling CIC

I am dealing with Cairo VO I have for another 13 months of waiting... I know I need to be patient :)

Is chelseaviel an applicant of April or June? Currently this name is there in both April and June spreadsheets.

From what I have read on other threads, I think chelseaviel initially applied in April and had their application returned, and then re-submitted in June. Probably explains why they are on both spreadsheets!

Phew, I was going to say - July already received an AOR and I didn't know about it!

This is not a casino game. Luck is not a factor if you have a policy in place that is fair and equitable.
The posting of working on April 30th dates is a lie as well can all see applicants past that date receive AOR's and approvals. This is a stall tactic meant to mislead and keep call inquiries down to a minimum.

If you want to kill flies you buy a fly swatter. If you want to make a sandwich then you can use all the honey you like.
Yoo are not being disrespectful you are asking them to do what they were elected to do and what they get paid for. There is a reason why they are called public servants.

Everyone at the end of the day is in the same boat. It really is just luck whether your application is processed faster or not (Stage 1-wise). Having the spreadsheet in someways is a double-edged sword: you know people around you are being processed, but if you aren't first in line then it's a cause for more frustration and impatience. If we just had the date on the website to go by (which is what CIC intended) then you wouldn't be aware of the order of AOR's and Sponsorship approvals and probably be less frustrated. (But still frustrated nevertheless!)

I would tend to be more concerned if there was no movement on the spreadsheets at all- apparently that's what happened in February for a couple of months.

I'm allergic to honey. I'd rather use it to kill flies. I believe if you talk to anyone like that, you will not get a positive response. I don't think they for one person's vote enough to respond to angry words or orders. We have long roads ahead of us. If you think you're mad now, just wait.

Once again the evidence is against you. We are not in the same boat. Look at all the June applicants that have received AOR's within 6 weeks. Some of us are in boats and some of us are treading water.
I am not advocating physical violence to motivate anything. If you are happy to just sit and wait go right ahead. I am not because it is unnecessary to wait longer than those who applied after me.
Mp's need to look like they are doing a good job in order to be re-elected and they all want to be re-elected the perks are just too good. They are happy to have sheep as constituents. That way they get paid for doing nothing. If you are unhappy at having others processed before you you have to make those in a position to affect change aware that there is a problem.
I am a direct proactive person so that is what I make work for me. Find out what works for you and go with it. Or sit back and watch the crowd pass you by.
At the current rate that CIC is going there will not be anymore Indians in India by the time we get 1 Filipino sponsorship approved.

What date did you get this so that I can update the spreadsheet?

I received the email Aug 13... at 11:08 pm... looks like the automated email system have some back logs. So I believe there are some applicants who have applied earlier than me, but just have not received any email because their automated emails looks like they have backlogs, even their website is not consistent, so hang in there everyone.

Just wondering, when I went to the doc here in Canada, he asked which office the results should be sent to. I said mississagua.... now I am wondering if instead I was meant to say London. Anyone know?

Sorry to say but you should have said "London"... Don't get panicked! Just breathe and contact your VO.
