Just received an email from our lawyer. Our sponsorship has been approved and file has been transferred.. Finally. The email came from Ottawa Pilot.

Does anyone know how long it takes for "medicals recieved" to be updated on ecas??

and is it only mine or is this for everyone...is your ecas slow to load???????

It's slow for almost everyone I can see. Don't worry. Your file has just been transferred. I don't think you will see any new changes for a while. ECAS, well should I say all communications from CIC?, is not very timely. I stopped checking it once I know that I can access to it.

ya i just wana make sure they get our medicals lol..its just really weird how they proceed with medicals sent to paris then visa office.. they must have a good system not to loose all this info!

No news for me today. Whoever is logging info on the spreadsheet I sent my application on the 9th of May. CIC Mississauga received it on the 10th of May.
How many of us are still waiting for AOR's now?

mine was recieved on the 10th as well i called in on thursday and they had sent out the sponsor approval letter to me that day but no aor was issued for me...

u must already have it... trying calling

Yes. I called last Friday they said I was not in the system. That this was normal and a bunch of other BS.
By looking at the turnover dates it would seem that those who have a lawyer and those with an existing file get service first.

Haven't received any AORs too... It's so hard to get into the call centre, and sometimes the agents are really useless to talk to anyway. They said they couldn't find me yet on the system, and when I said that the 86 days is up that is why I'm calling to ask, the agent told me that if the website says that they are still working on April 30 applicants then we won't hear anything from them until the end of september.... but that's weird because there are some people who have AORs and sponsorship approvals already who applied on May. Plus I know someone personally who had her app sent on May 20, and she's already approved... and when I told the agent that i still haven't received anything thru mail and email, she told me not to worry because they dont send anything thru mail or email ???... like really, they're not that consistent... so I dont know... I'm still patiently waiting :-[

Calling CIC is a waste of time and will only increase your stress level.

no CJG it's the government.....seriously I was 107 days before I got an AOR and it was the worst because this first stage is to be the quick stage...truly it won't be much longer...try to be positive it is so easy to get in a negative downward spiral....this is a long process but truly I bet you have aor/approval this week....chin up....
