Yes, and if you click on it you will get a blurb telling you that they've mailed out a letter detailing the decision etc.

Yes, that means that your email/letter is on its way. People rarely get turned down for sponsorship unless they are criminals or they are receiving social assistance.

And since your VO is in New Delhi, your spouse will be getting all the papers no later than mid-September, guaranteed. I wish my VO was that efficient... so you should relax.

Oh thanks..No mine is sill 'Application Received' but i read somewhere on the forum that ecas may not be updated even when sponsorship mail is sent

Our ecas started showing 'application received' on both places i.e. 'sponsorship application' and 'permanent resident'. We have not received any AOR or approval via mail. What does this indicate?

@ Mumble - If you have not received any AOR or approval then that means u have not got any communication from CIC regarding UCI or file number .....then how come you are able to check ur ecas .....??? ......i wd also love to check the same ......

So when do we get the client identification number ....??...we filed the case through a lawyer and he told us there's absolutely no info which can be used to track the file .....

We used the number present on my husband's PR card. Try using that. Even our lawyer said the same. But since sunday we r able to see the status.

you will get a UCI# once an aor or approval is issued.......the UCI# is for the sponsor and the File/Application # is for the applicant.......and your lawyer is right there is not way to track the file once it is in Mississauga.......also your lawyer will receive the aor and/or approval..

Yup thats right. U can see the status only when AOR or approval is issued. So if u r not able to see anything online give it some time
