Yeah one of the key phrases I have learned translates to ' just wait..' and you wonder why they label foreigners as typically impatient ???

because they live with their spouses in canada ! and make others wait
enjoying their rights there.

hahaha! you got it right were still waiting.. hopefully this week we will receive the sponsors approval.

Our ecas started showing 'application received' on both places i.e. 'sponsorship application' and 'permanent resident'. We have not received any AOR or approval via mail. What does this indicate?

Us too. I think that's an un-official AOR.

Were you able to talk to any CIC agent? This is all so confusing.

Apparently not everyone receives an AOR. They are new and haven't been fully implemented so I have been informed from CIC.
If it indicates that they have received your application then you are on your way. An enviable position.

Well, We should have gotten approved by now. High time. But try calling CIC today. I think they should at least have an update for you, as you are very near to my date.

Todays the day I had marked on my calender originally to get sponsorship approval.. so fingers crossed I was right!! Post mans been and gone so holding out for an email
