What does decision made on CIC website? Does that mean that the application is approved ? I am confused because it does not shoe whether the decision is positive or negative?

It simply means a decision has been made. In vast majority of cases, it's positive. For some unlucky people, it's negative. If you have DM on ECAS, you can call the CIC call centre and ask the agent. They're allowed to tell you what the result is. Otherwise you can just wait for the email to come that asks to send your passport/copies of passport to Ottawa (which again means that the application has been approved) or if the application has been rejected, the email that says it's rejected. It normally takes between around 1-3 weeks from getting Decision Made to getting the email.

Its not express entry...they are regular applicants like you and me. I have friends among them that got ppr too.

Thank you Lisa.I would say to all forum members do not lose hope.I got in process after 15 months.Lost all my hope but there is nothing we can do apart from waiting.I would also suggest to ask for GCMS notes.

Hi status 87, can v order gcms notes again and again coz i already have ordered 2 times can i order it again ?

What did they reply in the first two Gcms notes that you ordered.?It takes them 30days to reply.I would not suggest sending the GCMS query again and again.

I ordered mine every two months so order, 30days to get them, then wait 30days more and order again.. Didn't cause any problems with my application. Plus ordering more frequently than that would not really give you anything at the speed CIC works lol

Criminality- in progress
Eligibility - in progress
Security- not started
Medical- passed
I order firts time in feb end and second time in april

Today I woke up seeing this email asking me for the reassessment of medical validity.

Well actually I couldn't sleep before reading this too.

I got my medical done in India during my visit last year, on 15th April, 2014. I asked them this year, but they didn't ask anything at that time, ask they said is, wait for us to contact you. Now they're contacting me one month past the medical is expired. They gave me 7 days, and the panel physician said he's too busy right now and he'll call me ASAP.



This is damn frustrating, I cried at 4:17 am seeing this email. And its from delhimedical/medical@international.gc.ca

Sorry to hear about your situation...have you been living in Canada for the past year? If so, I thought you'd be entitled to a medical extension.

Sorry to hear that Trunal89. Im lacking interest now to go in this forum and check my ecas as well.
well fyi my friends, up to now i havnt sent my WP paper application yet because im still waiting for my IMM5401 (official receipt to be used only for paper application).
i have tried nth times to apply online but it wont let me. So i gave up and decided to just send it with my paper application. But I cant send it not until i get my IMM5401. I have 10 days remaining until the expiry of my WP (May 30).
It also saddens me to hear that alot of May, June applicants getting their PR before us.

Seems to me there is no order to it at all and no point calling them as all you get is ... It's not 17 months call us back when the 17 months is reached . So frustrated with the whole process !! I check ecas all the time it's so time consuming for your brain only to get no movement it's like an obsession to check every day :'(
