Yes under BOWP you can apply as long as you already apply for PR and got ur AOR AND If your application is under PNP,CEC,FSWP etc. but same thing happen to me I was denied also the reason is my nomination is only limited to my employer. But if your nominating province will allow u and get a letter for them that u want to apply for open permit then you can submit it together w ur application for BOWP. THIS IS WHAT THE OFFICER TOLD ME BUT I didnt took any chance again coz I am running out of time thats why I apply for extension instead. Check the processing time and if you think u still have more time to re-apply once you are denied then you can do so. In ur application status YES u are eligible to apply for BOWP.

No i am not really sure. Cic call center lady told me that nothing going to happen in a month or soon. But i still expect for ppr by end of March..

Yes im from march 17. How many countries have you been lived? I am feeling beacuse i have lived New zealand for few years , thats the only reason making it longer to get background check...

I was in India before n now in canada but my spouse was in Malaysia for 5 months . If it could be a reason?

Yes that might b the reason for holding us bcz I was in India b4 I came here but my spouse lived in uk for three years ... I was said that our background check is in progress now....

Hi, there are quite a few guys who got PPR after DM on 13 and 14 Feb..I got DM on 05-Feb and PPR on 13-Feb. 31-March applicant.

Hello guys! is there anybody there who have the same situation like me, waiting for the fbi clearance.. I was given before Feb 28 to send my fbi. I did my fbi application since Dec 28, 2014 and til now, no news. I got so worried about the time frame that they give me, so what i did is i sent my fbi receipt to cic to show that i did my application. i heard fbi takes 12-16 weeks.. Im so scared that cic might refuse my application since im lacking the said document (fbi clearance)...if any of you guys in the same boat, please let me know..thank you!
