Ive received 2 GU on 7th n 9th of june n nothing after. This makes me worried as to what’s causing this delay becuz I’ve read on forum many persons got stuck in background for over a year when they recieve 2 GU n nothing. Sad
Oh no! Hopefully that’s not the case as my PR card expires soon :( Fingers crossed!!

Hello, I had a quick question based on your timeline, as you received your AOR on April 28th - were you not able to create your online tracker account till May 30th? Also, only 1 day for BG to be completed after ECAS in progress?
Thanks, would really appreciate your response.

Hi,
I was able to create the online tracker a couple of days after receiving the AOR for all of us (family members). But my status on ECAS remained “Application Received” until May 30, 2023. And yes BG check was completed on May 31, 2023.
Hope this helps.

I took the test on June 10th and no the tracker is not updated yet. Still shows "in progress"
I did mine on June 1st, and my tracker was updated on June 6th, and the update actually said the test was marked as complete on June 4th. It seems the tracker has a couple of days lag when they do something.

edit - got the date wrong.

Hello Everyone,

I need urgent help. I sent my paper application for Citizenship on March 23, 2023, and it was received on March 27, 2023. After that, there is not update, and haven't received an AOR in the mail too. When looking at the excel sheet, there are lots of candidates whose tests are done but I didn't even receive an AOR.

What can I do in this case?

PLEASE HELP

Thank You

Had a chat with IRCC call centre. I now know that my application is assigned to Scarborough as primary office. Guess I’m gonna be waiting for a while before I hear about prohibitions and physical presence. I’ve already cleared BGC.

I was advised to request via web form, as soon as PP is cleared, to let them know I want the in person oath ceremony. Not before, but also not after I get scheduled for oath.

That was actually good to know as that is what I want.

Good luck to us all March applicants.
Did they grant your request to have an in person ceremony?

Hi everyone. I got an automated email from IRCC today. The email contains information about citizenship e-certificate and how to sign up for the IRCC Portal to download the e-certificate. I haven't scheduled to take an oath yet because I am still waiting for it. I signed up for this portal but I can't download the e-certificate. That's expected because I haven't taken an oath. I am just curious why I am getting this email prematurely.

The attachment reads like this:
