I’m still waiting.
Had Oath on Dec 1 and application status showed closed on Dec 2.
I’d also wish to know an average timeline between Oath and Certificate arrival. I’ve read that some members got it really fast. While waiting I have already scheduled the passport application appointment.
Hope Certificate arrives by max end of next week, however will keep reading relevant posts so that I have more realistic expectations.

My oath was last month (Mississauga office) and I got my certificate in 10 days (7 business days). I requested express delivery but not sure if it was accepted.

Congratulations on completing this long journey. Pls, how many days before scheduled oath ceremony did you get the oath invitation? I have oath scheduled next week and no oath invitation yet.

Had ceremony on Nov 16th. Oath status was set to completed on Nov 22nd. But it's Dec 15th now and my application status is still in progress and I haven't received the certificate. It's been a month now...should I be worried?

Also, it's Scarborough office I believe.

Got my passport yesterday. It was a long journey from an international student to a Canadian citizen and I am thankful for all those who helped me along the way.

Hi all, I finally took my oath on Tuesday! Does anyone know approximately how long it takes for the application to be completed after the ceremony? And you only get the certificate after the application is complete, right?

For me it was next business day, but there are few applicants from Winnipeg for whom it was updated after a month.

I checked my Status on August 30th and it said , oath is in progress you're scheduled to take the oath on September 17th, I checked it today( August 31st) and the message that scheduled my oath date disappeared and the oath status is still in progress. Is it normal? does something go wrong? anybody experience this?

Did they reschedule? were you notified why they pulled the date? how soon did they send you another oath date?

That means that they cancelled the ceremony on that day

did anyone confirm this was actually the case for when the date disappears on the tracker?

Question: I am still outside of Canada, can I take the Oath? and I heard that during the oath I have to cut my PR card, because I am outside Canada right now, wondering when I cut my PR card, how can I come back Canada tho
