Mine got disappeared too. I just hope this is a good sign, but we never know
They are updating the portal I guess.

Also Progress bar has no significance, it is just an automated progress bar. Maybe lot of people might be asking that progress bar shows 100 percent and there application is not yet approved, and IRCC removed it completely.

Hi all and @legalfalcon ,

My progress bar disappeared does it mean anything?
Mine got disappeared too. I just hope this is a good sign, but we never know

It has gone for everyone. The progress bar was a sham as it only showed time elapsed and not the actual processing progress.

As per IRCC's annual 2019 annual report it takes 8-9 months for an application to process, which IRCC already knew at the end of 2019, but continued to show 6 months average time frame.

How long did it take to process an Express Entry application?
Table 35 displays the time, in months, that IRCC took to process 80% of applications under each program. In 2019, IRCC did not meet the processing standard of finalizing 80% of all applications sourced via Express Entry within six months. The processing time for Express Entry, overall, was eight months. As an alternative measure of processing times, 60% of applications finalized in the 12-month period ending on December 31, 2019, were completed within the six-month service standard.

Data is operational and as such should be considered preliminary and subject to change.

  • Processing times refer to the time in which 80% of applications were finalized by IRCC. The processing time is measured from the day a complete application is received until the time a final decision is made by an immigration officer.

Ghost Update again.
My medical will expire on 24th Feb 2021, and now it shows "You do not need a medical exam". I guess my security screening just started with the last GU, but I dont know what that means for the medical and if I should expect an extension.

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us.

For the last several months, whenever I’ve called IRCC, they said that my security has not started but my elligibility on file is ‘passed’ instead of ‘recommended pass’.

@legalfalcon I know that the security stage only starts when the elligibility is passed by the officer. If the elligibility is only passed by an analyst and not the officer, can it still show up as ‘passed’ instead of ‘recommended pass’?

Yeaterday they also said that the security status can stay at ‘not started’ instead of ‘in progress’ untill the stage is complete. is this accurate?

I am exhausted of this waiting. All assessments are completed by 2020 September and the application is in the visa office now as per IRCC( I'm BC PNP). Can we at least use the money we have in the bank to show in order to fulfill the financial capability?

Guys, please, help retwitting the following statement under each tweet of ircc and Marco Mendicino (pls, point out your own status at the end).

Immigrants don't matter to @CitImmCanada @marcomendicino! Mar'20 PR applicants are waiting for their PR application assesment, while IRCC is busy approving June - Sept'20 applicants. I feel discriminated- my application status since July 2020 GCMS is still pending officer review
