I believe there is no difference between the two passports regarding this matter

Guys, I have some exciting news to share. I just checked eCas and apparently I was sent a notice to appear for a ceremony on June 5. I am in Calgary and my original date was March 16th originally. Now my question to you guys is, does anybody know whether it is virtual or real? I did not get any email yet. I saw in this thread somebody named izz83 got a virtual ceremony invite (June 2) in Edmonton. If you can please shed some light or have any other information, that will be highly appreciated. Wow. Congratulations. I have done some research and no information about any policy changes anywhere. I dont know if they can do a ceremony virtually without changing the legislation. But if its happening, then it's good. So you allready had a ceremony scheduled for 16th March earlier?

Ya, that is the point. It is confusing, somebody mentioned he/ she got a virtual ceremony invitation. In the lack of an email, I dunno whether it is in person or virtual. Yes, I had it scheduled but got cancelled on March 13th. No email in the spam folder yet.

So did you get notice in email yet or it just shows in ecas? You can always call the contact centre and clarify

Hi Nkam, the British passport is a stronger one compared to other countries, I am also a British citizen I was wondering if you could share how did you become a PR? I am not a qualified guy to apply for any visa category but I have visited and I like it.

British Passport is one of the strongest passport in the world and allows more visa free countries compared to Canada. But overall both are similar

Hello, I need your advice please.

I sent out my application for citizenship in March 2019, they sent me an invitation for the citizenship exam on January 09th, 2020 for January 18, 2020, and I missed this. And now, 6 months later, I noticed this when i went into the details section of my application status online.

I sent them a WEB FORM to explain to them, that i never received an email or a letter from them about this and if they would review my case.

My application status still says "IN PROCESS".

Please advise, I am very worried about this.

Also, please let me know if they will send an email or a letter in the mail to tell me about this citizenship test in the future? Or do I have to keep checking my "application status online"?
