Waiting for background check, AoR since March 2018, and yes I am in Canada CEC.

Almost hitting my 3 years timeline now applying through Express Entry

Any news?
I'm still waiting Aor March 2018
I had a ghost update, but I call IRCC and nothing change.....

They give me and extension for medical on May 28th and ircc told me thet this extencion it's only for 6 months....

Some in the same situation?

You are in a good spot, me still background security no ghost update (nothing)

A ghost update at this stage means someone reviewed/approved your file. Since they have not asked for any ADR after the GU, I would consider being closer to approval. All the best! I hope 2018 applicants get cleared in the next few months. My AOR is Oct 2018 and I have not heard back from them since March 2020.

As a conclusion, my file has been in the queue and untouched for six months, which later applications jump the queue to the treated.

I've been in that review email from CPCO a while now...

Kindly let me know how much time did it take to get out of that review zone.

Hello All
Today recived this request for my wife.
Someone in the same boat.....

"Please send a photocopy of a passport that currently has a validity date beyond 6,months.
Your visa cannot be issued until receipt of the requested copy of a valid passport.
Please note " Do not submit original passports until iRCC requests them...

I called IRCC and they said that security still on progress.....
