Guys.... I received my passport request letter from Delhi immigration office this morning i.e 16-Jul 10am IST.

Can’t begin to tell how happy I was to see this email. Thanks to everyone on this forum for solving queries and of course being a huge source of encouragement.

My timelines as below:

ITA - 21-Feb 2018
AOR - 15-Mar 2018
Medical passed - 23-Mar 2018
IP1 - 23-Mar 2018
IP2 - 11-June 2018
PPR - 16-July 2018
Visa office as on 6-July - NDVO
congratulations!

P.S.: Not sure why IP2 to PPR has started taking so long for applicants.

Hi all,
Whenever an additional document is requested, how long does it take before they actually read the submitted additional document and process our application further? Seems like there is a lot of gap between "date submitted" and "date read" and this could delay the processing time for some candidates.

hey guys,

My profile shows that it has been updated but nothing has changed in the status. My AOR was on March 16th and my background check started on July 9th. I called CIC but i was disconnected due to high volume of calls before I could to speak to an agent. Last time I spoke to an agent was a month ago when she said that the file is still in the CIO.

What could this mean?

I am not sure on the criteria for resuming a review for a file held up due to ADR. I submitted my Additional document (US PCC) on Apr 2nd. There has been no update since. :(
The status still reads "The additional document you submitted has been uploaded." which means it has not even been read more than 100 days after submission.

Yes that's exactly what I'm talking about. This is really frustrating! My ADR was submitted on April 6th and they read it on June 5th. They have now asked for another ADR which I have submitted, no idea how long before they read it :(

Application/profile has been updated on Jul 12, but nothing changed in my application.

How long do I need to wait for PPR....

Congratulations on moving to IP2.
Did you apply for GMCS notes before or after the IP2 update ? Do you feel that the ordering of notes had an effect of your account being updated?
My AOR is 24th March , and I have been on IP1 since 4th April. I hope I move to IP2 soon. I am yet to request for GMCS notes.

I applied for GCMS before moving to ip2. If the file is being processed and not updated for whatever reasons, i think then GCMS notes help. There are plenty who ordered notes but did not see any movement in the application. I honestly believe there is no correlation between ordering gcms notes and movement in application.

PS: Many 16th march AOR have been moved to ip2 today
