My husband has officially been granted permanent resident through the Havana, Cuba VO today! We are March 24, 2017 applicants to all those still waiting, the best of luck... heres to the beginning of our forever <3

Should I just wait and do nothing? How do I know if they received it? Because ive read some here,

Mine :
march 15- application
March23- SA
March 30- request for schedule a
March 31- i sent schedule a tru webform,but until now july 6,2017-- still #2 in ecas- we sent you correspondence...
So it means they didnt receive anything since march31???? So july 6, I decided to send it to mail address together with my pcc/nbi.
April 26- medical results received.

In my ecas:
1. We received your application...
2. We sent you correspondence...
3. Medical results have been received.

Whats next???

ECAS on PA section:

1. We received xx application for permanent residence on February 23, 2017.
2. We started processing xx application on May 10, 2017.
3. Medical results have been received.

ECAS ON sponsor section:

1. We received your application to sponsor xx on February 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 10, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 9, 2017.

I uploaded schedule A on April 4th and I was worried whether my schedule A form has been attached to my document, so I sent an email to Ankara VO on April 25th.I got the following response 1 hour later.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Our office did not receive your file yet. The form Imm5669 is still outstanding

Immigration Section

So Ankara should have received my documents between 26th April-10th May.We never got the confirmation.


They also asked me to send the new background clearance on May 16th.I submitted it on May 18th.
Don't hesitate to contact them and ask if they received you file.
I know the process is so nerve-racking but stay calm and hope for the best.

What is the third line in ECAS? What does it say specially?

It says, "We started processing your application".
