So this is a weird one..lol
Called CIC today at around noon, and the guy said "the date online for 28 days/30 days is the number of days they'll take to process the file AFTER opening it. Basically that the SA would come 30 days AFTER the AOR. I know for a fact that's not what time timeline is. The timeline we all know is an estimate as to how many days AFTER receiving the package do they process the files, hence the "processing applications received on xxxxx" line.
Either way, I said "thank you," and hung up.

Then I called them up again 10 minutes ago and told them it's been 30 days + and still no AOR.
I gave the dude my details and much to my delight he read back my address and telephone number and email. I.e. meant that he had my details.
He told me the e-mail for the AOR had been generated, but hasn't been sent yet, whatever that means..
So he said I should hopefully be receiving it, but didn't specify how long.
So I guess that's good! Finally someone who actually helped me out and gave me some assurance.

Now the client ID he provided me with over the phone, when I try to check the status using it online, gives me the "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:" message..
Maybe it's not been updated yet in the system..
Either way..
Hopefully receive that AOR email soon, and hopefully the SA soon after that.

I should try calling then.. Hopefully I get updates..

I had to call them 3 times before I got any useful info!
Called them on Monday too and got the "just wait, it says processing packages received on 12th March online, so wait till that changes and then call back!"

I tried calling and got the automated service. I was able to verify that my application was received last March 14. I will try calling tom. to speak to an agent.

Just wanted to check in and say hi and good luck to everyone.

I am in the April outland applicants thread, but am watching this one closely as well as an indicator for when they will start processing April applicants.

Read through and hoping for a flurry of AOR and SA activity today before the Easter long weekend. Make that spreadsheet look like an Easter egg!

Give them a call today?
Just have your receipt # ready...call them up right now?
And tell them when it was received by the office...
Ask them, "If I give you my receipt #, will you be able to perhaps tell me if my info is in the system?"

I called and gave them all details then they told me that AOR is generated and pending. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? they have my record so I guess they open my package.. Would I believe if they say AOR is pending? My big question is Why is it pending..

It is a good thing!
That's exactly the response I got yesterday. Just means the email has been generated, but not been sent out by their system.
The good thing is, they have opened your file, and have all your details, so that's good.

They'll send it the mails/emails in mass to everyone. They do that at the end of the day I think, send out all the e-mails or post at one go.

I got my AOR in the email at 7.45 am eastern today!
So either expect an email (if you've given them an e-mail) tonight, or Tuesday since they'll be closed Friday-Monday.
Check your junk mail too just in case..
