Quick question for you, I see that in your information you have a "File Transferred" date, but that it doesn't appear on the Google spreadsheet. How did you learn that your file was transferred?

as what Zarilenth said you will know it once you got your SA.

Yeah, I got the SA no problem, but there is no notification that it has been sent to the processing office and Ecas continues to say 'received' not 'in processing'. I am processing at Manila, and I saw that you were as well, so I was wondering how you knew your file had been transferred to Manila.

Gumby, in your sponsorship approval it will say something along the lines of

"accordingly, your application has been transferred to the visa office abroad for further processing". That is how you know it's been transferred. Manila will not send you a notification that they've received the application. The first contact you'll get is if they request documents or update ecas.

Also ecas will not update to 'in process' when Manila gets your application. Usually the app will sit in the office for months before someone picks it up for review. And sometimes, ecas will never get updated, so I wouldn't focus on it too much.

cant even see the spreadsheet, it is asking me to ask permission....hehe

can you plz give me permission??? :-\ :) ;) :D ;D 8) :P

when my sponsor got SA it says that my file is transfer to visa processing.Mine too still "received" in ecas.its gonna take a while I think for us to be in processing.

As others have stated, will show up in your SA.
Your file has been transferred to VISA office overseas. This office was chosen based on applicants country or residence.
You will receive no notification it has been transferred. Have to take their word for it, but it will have been transferred.
First time you will hear from Manila is PPR or additional docs required but this will come after many months of waiting unfortunately.
I am almost 8 months into process with not one word from CEM.
All that can be done is wait.
Good Luck

Every time someone gets SA that means the worker is freed up to work on another case, right? :)

Makes sense to me, cause they pick up a file, decide SA, send an e-mail, put that file in the mail for the right VO and then start all over with another file. Yay! lol

That's what I pictured.
Thanks for freeing up all the workers everyone!
Keep the AORs and SAs coming!

Zarilenth, thanks for the work on the spreadsheet. Just wanted to point out that kneekick is active on the feb thread...believe is posting his info there as he is a feb applicant. Another thing, i have a question about Nini? On the spreadsheet in Singapore, I could not find any postings from person. Just wondering if anyone has seen any activity lately? Due for an update and Of course I am following fellow Singapore applicants closely.

Cheers everyone!

Sorry guys I didn't actually do anything to the spread sheet except change who could see and edit it. Agarand8 did all the changes!
