Hi Africalady,

To be honest, I don't know how big was your proof.....??Anyway i don't see any red flags with what you`ve written...... the age differences, the kids etc. Meeting online is a normal thing, i met my husband online as well! Though in our scenario, we both never got married before or have any kids and of course, i didn't give any explanations on my application, i only gave proof to speak for themselves. All you need to remember is what you wrote on your application, they might ask you the same question for clarifications with what you wrote and of course, you have to go with extra proof so they can see that the relationship keeps going on and its genuine. Am sure you know your husband very well so if they ask anything about him, his work, finances, his family his child, you know what to say about all of this and keep in mind that you only answer what you have been asked so you wont leave rooms for doubts.

I hope my little info will enlighten you on where to begin for your interview preparation. I wish you all the best and i know you`ll do just fine!

Hello Asephil,
Thanks so much for your good words, i really feel abit relieved because when i joined this site i have been reading alot about the red flags so i got abit worried. We submitted enough proof for documents and am already gathering more documents to take on the date of my interview. We discussed all this with my husband and we are very fine with what we are/have, for us age is just a number and the children we have we are ready to bring them up together as ours. we even plan to have more two babies soon.
Both our relatives are very supportive and we have their blessings.
Otherwise, let me calm down so that by interview i will be confident enough to defend my marriage. Hope for the best results come October.
Thank you once again, God bless you.

Cheers/
Asephil

Hi There,

I'm a March 2013 Applicant, my application was received on 7th March 2013.

File forwarded to Visa office at New Delhi on 4th April, 2013.

Passport Request 2nd May 2013. I did not send the passport as I was in Canada and I had to come back to India to send the passport.

I requested them more time to give the passport and I finally sent them the passport on 25 August 2013 and the VO reverted back on 30 August 2013 with request for some documents. The documents have been sent on 7 September.

I had got my medical done on 20 September 2012 and the police verification too at that time.

My questions are-

1. How much will the VO take to take a decision on my file? I had gone online to check the status and it says Application Received.

2. Do I have to get my medical done again? or this one is valid?

Thanks
