Congrats! Happy for both of you! :))

I'm back with another questions :S

My husband is going to be changing to another job, in the same country, so does CIC need to be informed about this? Do we send a letter/call them?

hi.. my husband sent in our application last week but we have some questions-- for the form (sponsored wife) i put in married and used my married name -- but in my Passport, NBI, and Police clearance i used my maiden name -- is this alright? Also, I found a blog that says I will need to get the Advisory of Marriage from NSO -- is this correct? And will our marriage certificate (original copy given by the Pastor to us) be enough as supporting document for proof of relationship/marriage? Or do I need our NSO authenticated marriage certificate?

Any idea what the difference between Advisory of Marriage and the marriage certificate is?

also, after my husband mails the application to CPC- Mississauga --- is there anything I need to do on my end ordo I just wait for a feedback? Sorry I am really very confused and clueless about the whole process...

Thanks! ^_^ Will be posting our timeline here as soon as I can ..

hi,
2 ways to check ECAS:
UCI# & sponsor's info..or..File# & principal applicant's info..
not much updates on ECAS yet, only Application and medical results received..

were on the same boat here..and its going to take long time before we hear anything from CEM..

Medical results have been received.
