hi hopenpray2013! The next would be the Sponsorship Approval (SA) and this is more important than the AOR. Timeline is 28 days as per CIC website. This is crucial as the the Permanent Resident application of the sponsored person depends on this.

How many days we have to wait for the UCI can be used? I have tried several times after I received the AOR, but to no avail. I guess 2 days? I really don't know....

If you just received your AOR, try waiting a day or two. Same thing happened to me when I got my AOR. I waited for a day or two and voila! UCI was working

It's better to do it prior to sending your app kits. Saves you from some mailing/delivery delays. Plus, the principal applicant's app kit needs a proof that you did your medical exam already. I guess what I'm trying to say is, yes, do them prior to sending your app kits.

I am able to check ecas now, but it's just only Application Received. So the application is not processed yet. Is it like this?

Yep. It's gonna be like that 'till you get SA.

Hopefully! But i heard it is unlikely for CEM to send AOR. Let's just hope and pray for a speedy process in the 2nd stage.

Regular mail my friend because in the lower section you must fill in your details like you did when you sent the original. But if I were you I would try to first communicate with CIC to clarify this issue! It seems funny that although you included it in your package they do not have it

Hi there

did you try also to enter the File number. The UCI is the sponsors. If you are the sponsor enter the uci your name birth date and country
if you are the Applicant then use the File number and also your name Birth date country etc.

Also try to register with E-cas tracker a program that was made by a forum member that will automatically inform you anytime there is a change or an update in your E-cas

Hi and welcome

Yes it is advisable to do it prior to sending your apps. But in order to benefit from the One Year validity of the medical try to do it a few days prior to sending your apps.
To give you an example my spouse did hers on Jan 31st and we send off our apps on February 7th
