Hi Everyone,
We just recieved an email from the Mailla office requesting more documention. We originally applied in November 2012 and were hoping to get our visa soon. This is for a common law visa and they are asking for the following items.
1. A police clerance from Germany for my wife (she lived there for 6-months about 10-years ago!!).
2. An Appendix "A" which is weird (I think) because she does not have any children.
3. A complete family register, translated. (I also don't understand why since we sent this already).
4. A divorce certificate for her. (This is clearly stated on her family register).
5. Documentary evidence of your sponsor’s intent to re-establish in Canada. (easy as I am now in Canada and working).
6. Proof of co-habitation for over a year. (Again, we sent this in already).
Our problem is now we are both in Canada waiting for her visa which will make getting these papers very difficult. Also, we have already submitted and paid for a translation of the family register and are wondering why they wouldn't have this paper already. We do not have the original anymore (we sent it to them) but, we still have a copy of the translation.
Any ideas on how we can proceed???
