LMIA application processing time?

Hey experts,

My employer advertised the position for almost 3 months but add was not up on job bank for most recent 8 days. Can we still file LMIA now or have to complete another 28 days before we can file? LMIA is not applied yet.

I think you can file your application now. However, you need to repost an ad on Job Bank ASAP

Hi All,

Am an employee under the noc 2283 - software tester. My employer is ready to help me for LMIA process. My wage is 26.44 per hour with 30 hours of work. 26.44 is the exact median wage for this noc in Ontario.

My question is
1. What is the feasibility in me getting positive LMIA
2. Which category will I fall in ?? Like low wage positions and high wage position ??
3. Has anyone with same noc got positive LMIA??
4.Am I good to proceed ??
5. What will be the time frame ?? To get LMIA??

My lawyer has sent my application to EDSC on July,7 and my employer hasn't receive any call from EDSC. We didn't receive any email from EDSC as well.
My lawyer has called EDSC agent and asked them who told them that the process time would be delayed to 8-10 weeks. Any people here submit the application same time and not received the interview call? I hope we can share each timeline here. Thanks

Your lawyer will recieve the notification who will then pass it on to your employer
