I've been approved! Here's my timeline...

Province: BC
NOC: 1242
SC Received Final application: Sept 18
File Number dated: Sept 29
Approved: Dec 3 (by fax)
Received questions from SC on Sept 29, Oct 15, Nov 27, Employer had final conversation with officer yesterday.

Hi,
Just wondering if anybody got lmia approved in ontario for the position of Cook or Chef.
I need for both positions but confused for which position to apply for.
Do not want to take risk to apply for both position same time because it's expensive and long waiting time.
Your input or experience will be helpful to me.

So, this is the status - on Jobbank ad expired at midnight, but yesterday we renewed it. But a new one has a different job number. There was no other way for renewing. Is this okay?

I have the same situation. Not sure what is going to happen. I will share any update on my case.

Had an update from the employer. We do now have an officer assigned to our case and he asked questioned (not sure what was asked), the officer has said he will give an answer "soon". The lawyer has said from that point he expects the answer in around a week. He also said that with the new LMIA procedures, the officer has to get their decision approved by their manager, which is the hold up now.

Fingers crossed I am now in the final stage, and a decision is right around the corner.

For info, we got the file number on Oct 7th, The application is in Ontario.

Same thing in my Case however I am ongoing 9th week now and from Saskatchewan, I am getting help from Member of Parliament (MP) and my employer to push LMIA application status.. they phoned Service Canada two days back, VO told them that they will get back for the result this week or next week, I asked MP if they ask some questions or other additional needed documents/requirements, he said VO didnt mention anything. Am not sure how long it still on process.
Will keep you guys posted and lets all hope for the best.
