Letter of demand ahead of writ of mandamus?

I have submitted the webform. There are certain websites suggesting sending the demand letter to Department of Justice Canada (in Ontario, in my case). Which brings me to the original question, @PaliPal can you confirm which address/web-form/route you took to get your demand letter noticed?

Webform and I have used the same email of AbuDhabi office

Update on this:
I have sent a letter of demand by myself indicating that I will be going to a writ of Mandamus representing myself and my wife if the issue is not resolved. We requested an immediate attention and a max of 30 days to process our application.

They responded back in 2 weeks with PPR. Problem solved.

Could you please provide some insight into the process for sending the letter, and If possible, a sample of the letter you used would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot you for your help

It has only been a year so you’re not really experiencing significantly longer processing times.

We need more information on your application and timeline of processing. Is there a stated reason for delay? Red flags?

We know that certain files take longer to process depending on government/military background, country of citizenship, etc. was asking for more details about the case to see if mandamus was a good option for them. Many want to apply much earlier than will likely be successful.

I am exhausted of waiting almost 16 months so far for outland spouse's sponsorship ( 6months beyond processing time).

Anyway, just looking for an address to send the letter of demand and samples if available

I have been waiting 21 months as well, applied August 2, 2024. I am sending my demand letter August 2, 2026 (or might wait until November 2, 2026, still deciding). Hoping I will not have to actually do that though and maybe by the grace of god my husband will receive his PPR before then, but not holding my breath. I would suggest using ChatGPT to formulate the letter if you are not using a lawyer. That’s what I plan on doing.
