just follow what the agent told you to do. yes thats what i checked on the form it doesnt matter because OWP means you can work in any employer you want, its confusing because that form it doesnt have any box to tick that says OPEN WORK PERMIT. so follow what the agent told you thats what i did too and write open work permit at the top of you application

hi dna if you have more concerns dont hesitate to ask. i am a nurse so i will work in the hospital soon i will work as a nursing aid first and upgrade after that.open work permit allows you to work in any employer you want so goodluck

i just receive my OPEN WORK PERMIT today in the mail!! my timeline is they received my application last may 6 and they issued my work permit last AUGUST 1 and i received it today AUGUST 6,

Call CIC today, and the agent confirm that my OWP is approve and in the mail.... Freedom at last! Timeline Send App May 5 CiC receive application May 10. Will keep you guys posted when i receive my OWP in hand.

Sorry about the delay, Aor- April 5th got Open Permit Approved July5th, a week after in my hand.

hi there yahhh im really hoping im so excited hihi ..my friend got her owp today ^_^ her timeline is May 3 2013... ... and right now yes i am single applicant... but i am going home this OCtober to get married to my boyfriend ayiehhh and then when i come back i will add him on my Pr application ... I am in edmonton alberta how about you ?
