Hi everyone, lets join here and share our timelines and experiences for PR/open work permit applications for 2013. Things have been very quite where CIC is concerned with regards to the issuance of open permits for this year. Let us share information here so that others can be motivated while benefiting from the valuable information that has always been forthcoming from the members of this forum. Good luck to everyone who have applied or are working hard to fulfill their requirements. God be with us all. My timeline: Application recieved: Feb, 15th, AOR Recieved: March 02, 2013.

hi you did not received your work permit yet? i just mailed my application for PR and OWP last may 5 i do hope i can get my OWP in 3 months hoping... for a faster OWP.

application received: Feb. 20th. 2013. so far, no news from CIC.

Mine was received on February 28, 2013. No news yet.. How about your OWP guys? Have you received it yet?

Still nothing on my end. I'm hoping to receive it soon. Nxt Wednesday will officially be 3 mths. So much for the faster processing times for open permits.

Hi, I finally received my OWP today!

My timeline:
Application received: Feb. 4, 2013
OWP issued: May 2, 2013

OMG! This is music to my ears! Thank God ppl r still getting within 3 mnths. Four is really quite a stretch. Thx Sweetiepie, I sure do hope so! We need our open permits to go off and spread our wings! Congrats Green0407! Here's wishing renewed strength to all of us still waiting.
