They will base it on your passport's expiration date.

Hi Linaudrey, we have a pretty close timeline. I posted my package on Feb12 and delivered on Feb15. I haven't recieved my AOR yet and start worrying a bit. I'm single and also applied under the old pathway/24 months option. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, schumie. I think you will be fine. Should receive your AOR in these one or two weeks since it took 5weeks for me to receive it.

Hi guys! Just to update my timeline.As of March 23,2016

PR/OWP sent : June 29,2015
CIC received : July 02,2015
AOR received : August 07,2015
Start processing: August 06, 2015
OWP issued : September 24,2015
OWP received : October 01, 2015
Medical Request for my Dependant: March 23,2016

Finally got the much awaited email from CIC. It was stated that the process of my application has been completed and that CIC Edmonton will contact me concerning my PR status. They're asking me to pay the Right to PR. What's next after this? Interview?

Oct 10- OWP
March 23 - whatever this email means. application complete, for interview. Simply put, the confirmation that my application has been completed

Im single. I received an email from cic today. But it didnt say anything about right for pr fee or interview. It asked about medical exam for family members. I dont know why and i'm single. Thoughts?

Did you include the payment for the right to PR fee when you submitted your application? That's weird that they're asking you for a medical of your fam members when you're single. Maybe it's a mistake on their part. Try calling the immigration..

Received the OWP but expiry date is June 30, 2016 from march 21,2016.
Applied PR and OWP last Dec. 19, 2015.
What is the next step and any idea / experience why OWP is so short?

yikes. they used my old passport expiry date. i specified the new passport in the open work permit application though. what to do next?
