If you're in the Philippines you can make appointment online. To get in Canada go to POLO office located in Vancouver or Toronto. And is valid for 2 months. So depends how long you stay in Philippines.

Hi I did recieve owp. It came in the mail end of Feb. But it was approved on Feb 14

you need to pay the 6 weeks that you are not in canada, since ur in the old rule why not use option 2, 3900 hours. you can save time for that. no need of medical just for owp. send an letter of explanation that younare not going to do medical since you had passed medicals befor and comply with the requirements ou cic.

Yes i would have opted option 2, 3900 hours but CIC specified that it had to be at least within 22 months...
It's complicated for me because
I got my work permit approved last June 13,2014
And i started working in August 1,2014

wP expires this June 15,2016
My 24 months is on August 01,2016
So in between those dates, i lost working hours already
So that's why I had to extend WP

hello! I was planning to go for vacation on August. Since I have an ongoing PR app I would need to renew my VISA because I am not sure if my PR app would be approved on August. I was just wondering if anybody knew what application I should do for VISA renewal. I typed VISA renewal in CIC website and I can't find the exact app I need. Does anybody here know what the correct name for that application is? My VISA was expired this January. Thanks in advance!

Check your email. Vegreville Alberta. If your single no medical request. You will received AIP wait for PR interview. Only with dependant will get medical request. Unless specified for further request for single applicant.

PM your email and i will send you an excel format. Data are from your pay slip. After filling out the form have your employer sign it and attached your pay slip. As in every single pay slip with your employer signature on every pay slip too.

Five weeks past I haven't received AOR but two of my friends who applied in 2014 and 2015 July, they all received AOR email in three week. So I start to worry about my application. I called CIC this afternoon, it is so hard to get through, finally on person picked my phone and he said it is too early to send acknowledgement, usually it will take 4 months. But I don't believe what he said. I check this thread, most of the people received their AOR within 3-4 weeks.
Any advice or suggestion? I don't know whether CIC really received my application or not, or they think I miss some documents and will plan to return it.

Wow, it is weird but good, I just checked my email right after i posted this message, I received AOR, it took five weeks to received it. Now i think i need to wait open work permit to be approved first.
