Hi Guys!

I got my landing documents today and have been doing some research on how to finalize the landing process. I currently live in London, Ontario. Thinking about going to the Niagara Falls or Windsor to land. However, I do not have a valid US visa. I have heard people going to the US border and telling the US officer it's for Canadian PR landing purposes even though you don't have a US visa. They will send you to the Canadian border to do whatever is needed. Is that true?

I just want to double check before I go so I would not have any problems. Can someone have the experience to share a little bit here? Thank you so much!!!!

Yes - that's right. You can certainly land at a US/Canada land border without a US visa. Many have done it. It's quite normal.

Thank you so much for your information! I am worried because I tried to enter the US without a valid US visa once (I totally forgot to check the expiration date on my passport) and they have the record. Don't wanna leave bad impressions lol.
