I'm with everyone here...constantly checking and very anxious. I'm here in JA right now and would love to bring him back with me in July. In the meantime we just tying up loose ends and getting everything prepared for extended absence.
I know it's coming...just the anticipation of when is killing me.
I like reading when others' is moving forward, even just a little...gives hope!

Wow, good thing you're being proactive!

The sitting and waiting not cutting it for me, u r right, I gotta read and see what I can help to do for myself, hence being proactive where I can. If it were not for this great forum and u guys, I would not have know about the digitizing of prints or that rprf fees can indicate that my file is closer to completion rather than my thinking my application was just opened. Thanks guys....

Is there a point of me even checking ECAS anymore until My husband receives his AOR? I heard that I'll only get updates from now on using my Husbands UCI once he gets his..

Not really, they rarely update, and for me, they took about 6-8 weeks to update that they received medicals

It has been "SEVEN" weeks since they had requested hubby passport and still NOTHING!!!!! they called during the week regarding the "Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669)"pertaining to my husband work history and asked a few personal questions. N e how, i heard they stop printing visas until next month, so hopefully we hear some good news in July *Fingers crossed*.

So apparently for every holiday Canada have Kingston decide say they're gonna take a long vacation break on top of it?!

They did the same thing in December... Never start back processing files til late January and they closed early in Dec too

Well what to do guys....wee just have to occupy ourselves until next month....

I told you HW, Lijasha, Shortyp, if you never hear anything today we nt going to till next week or so...

I am here still taking it easy and trying to be patient for the return of our passport

I can start telling my landing story from now lol, I picture it in my head all the time hahaha I know for sure am gonna take a puff or 2 off hubby joint then start laughing like am crazy then you know the rest with a glass of merlot or mascato whatever wine he has waiting for me yup

Hey, hope everyone is doing ok. I was living in Canada for 8yrs without status and was asked to leave voluntarily and did so in 2013 I had to get full custody of my son so he could stay here with me in jamaica. My then boyfriend now husband came down and marry me. I got pregnant 2013 dec and had my baby last sep. He sent my app in April along with my medical report and police clearance for canada plus pics etc and cic canada said he was approved and it was sent to kingston. What's next and how long is the wait ? Its like I'm going crazy, don't know what's next . I think lost like 10 pounds already from worrying its crazy. Our daughter is ok bc any child born to a canadian citizen anywhere is automatically a citizen so we already sent in for her citizenship certificate
