4 months?? Wow!! I guess those persons had every bit of thing on their application very well in odrder, nothing expired within that time also....and they sure got a case worker who moved on rapid. Wish that were the case with the majority of us....I am hopng we see more PPR's on the move Kingston. Hubby's, wives & kids waiting.

hello I had everything in tact before I send all my docs in and I guess just like everyone else too, pos has a bigger office than Kingston and process 14 more Caribbean countries than Jamaica and yet still they some what move faster than Kingston. but none the less they still work on other app faster than Jamaica's apps that's whats what I think.

Has anyone ever added additional information to their file after applying?
My sponsorship was approved in May and my husbands filed landed in Kingston on June 8th.
We did Meds and paid fees up front.
At the end of May when I had my file number I submitted a change in circumstance email with information on my pregnancy. I resent it to the Kingston link as well a couple days later.
I never received any sort of confirmation that it was added to my file.
I emailed last Thursday to Kingston to inquire about if it was received and added to my files.
Today I received an email which just talked about the process but gave no confirmation that they acknowledged the information and documents that I had sent.
On the bottom there was contact information for the office in Kingston. Would it be inappropriate to call?
Is this normal??
Any advice you ladies could give me would be great!

Interesting school of thought that Jamaica moving slower than POS. I had no idea POS was bigger either and doing more processing. Wow..I do hope that the waiting time would be cut down tho. It is quite hampering and heart rendering when it takes so many months-years to be reunited with our spouses and families.

Trust me its not abnormal to not hear from them lol, they don't do much on that area.... plus, they wont do anything about pregnancy anyway. Sounds rude but they don't care until the baby is actually born.

Any good news from anyone?
