I sent it in both names even still he has a TRN number but still had to pay at three spots. If you have a TRN number u can use the yellow form and get a discount.

Oh wow - I didn't realize it was such a crazy process - is this different if you get it delivered at your door? I guess you would pay for the service but at least you don't have to run around.

What are things I need to do when I am carrying in my passport I want to carry it in tomorrow.....
Do i need a dhl package? because they didn't state in the call they just told carry in my passport as soon as possible.......
Do i need to carry a envelope with my information on the front?
or i could just walk in with my passport alone and drop it off?

Please help don't know what to do ??? :-[ :-\

I haven't got to this stage yet but from what I gather from other posts; most of the time Kingston gives more details on the phone or follow-up with an email or snail mail on how to submit the passport including additional docs if requested.

I would suggest either emailing them confirming your telephone conversation and what else is required including procedures to submit the PP; or you could create a cover letter with your pp indicating the telephone conversaton date and time and include your file# and application number; full name and dob; have dhl courier to the embassy; ensuring you also pay for return to you.

Personally I would never send a barrel again. I sent one barrel paid 20 for it then 60 for pick up at the house fine. Now this is what sucks got to the airport declared I had a barrel coming in got a yellow slip. Went to clear the barrel well well you have to have a tax card so I couldn't use the yellow slip. Talk about a run around I so regret. You have to go to one place pay 30.00 then to a next place pay them 20 then I next 30-40. I swear by the time I left I spent 100.00 to clear the barrel. Waste of time and money never again.

I have a TRN, but we still put it in the family name. Have them deal with it. We literally don't show our face at all. And honestly, the process (other than being lengthy) was incredibly streamlined. But I have experienced the same issues as you O&O during another barrel episode, so I feel your pain.

You can just walk in and drop it off. Inform the security that u were called to bring in ur passport. U will also need a prepaid Dhl envelop for the return.

I am trying to link things together when it comes to this process (filing). Question: Did your hubby ever travel to Canada before or travel period? Me and my Dad having a disagreement over the phone. Just trying to prove something. :

If you don't get through by NEXT MONTH I would be VERY upset. They said 22 months and is almost 2 yrs for you now. I look at your info and next month makes it 22 months so dem better release the shackles offa yuh hubby and let what's meant to be be.

then that is why you don't need the DHL envelope, they will just call you to pick your passport back up. Usually if you live in country, then they tell you to send in a DHL envelope because it is just easier and less cost to you to get DHL to send it back.

Congrats on your PPR.....you are soon done! Bundle up for the cold it is chilly up here! LOL
