LMAO we could find a small island out there and start a reality tv show called Immigration Island: Waiting for our Husbands/Wives. At least people would see what stress we go thru on a daily basis while waiting for this process HAHAHA

hey chickie72....haven't talked in a while.....what is going on with your app.....did you get all the medicals and birth certificates???

Anada, an interview is only requested if KG feels that the evidence/circumstances as presented in the application alone can deem the relations as bona fide. Your hubby won't be called for an interview if your application passes this part of their criterias.

OMG I AM NOT FREAKING OUT.... if they turn him down (which i highly doubt they will) then we have decided not to appeal we have waited too long to start our life off togather and if its not here then it will be in Jamaica .... im not going to spend another year or two living in seperate countries .....

Hey KJG. I am here lurking in the background, reading everyday, but keeping to my quiet self mostly. Still waiting on his son's birth certificate, they have had it since July 3rd, I have emailed, he has called, they have a website where you can track it and still we haven't heard a thing except we are still working on it. His daughter is good to go with her passport and birth certificate but just waiting on his son now......grrrr not much we can do. So i figure about another month still before I can send it in as we still have to get son's passport (we can express that tho) and then they can all go for their medicals.

How is your process coming along?

That is true especially with this process. I have learned never to get my hopes up (it hurts my heart too much when my hopes get dashed away) so I just live each day as it comes and thank God for everyday that I am here. I was thinking just this morning, truly when this process first started, the time went soooo slow but now we are starting into September, it has been over 6 months since my hubby left and the time is actually seeming to go quicker now and before you know it, it will all be over. Try to stay busy and DO NOT dwell on it because it WILL only depress you.

perhaps we should look at renting a large space in the bahamas to fit us all until we can up on our feet down there...we all pitch in on rent...until we can stand on our own LMAO

Hey we can definitely do thAt!!!!!!!

Of course things have to look up! God would not give anyone more then they can handle.

There is no use stressing over things, you will only increase your blood pressure and that isn't going to do you any good. Work on the positive and make sure as Charlie said, that you are more then ready for the interview and everything will work out for sure. Nothing to fear! :-*

What is the criteria for passing a genuine relationship test? Why would they feel a relationship is ungenuine? Curious as to what would constitute this... Cuz I been with my hubby for 7 years and living with him for 6 not to mention our child we have together.. I wud go crazy trying to figure out why they wud constitute it as ungenuine... Certainly a long time to be with someone just for papers.
