ebonyshine... im from sudbury but i know very few would come... so me and soanxious talked about TO as it is more central and lots of members are living in that area... plus its not too far for me... but i was thinking maybe doing it closer to the end of the summer...

I'm so fed up with Kingston Office!!! Just when we thought that we are almost there, BAM!

Hubby went to the interview at the beginning of the month. He was asked to redo his meds... he asked if he could go to the same MD in MOBay and they told him no problem... they didn't gave him any forms cause his pictures were expired. He went to the DMP in MoBay, she called KG to have a blank redo form and put his new pics on it (was done last Monday) and stamp it. Everything was alright and we were soooo happy we are almost done... after 13 months of processing.

Today, hubby got a called from KG telling him the medical he did was not valid as it was not done in a Kingston DMP office They told him he will have to redo it in Kingston, that even if it was done by a DMP, no way they will accept it! They said they were sorry and apologized he didn't have the right info at first and gave him until next monday! Anybody heard of something similar?

I just don't know what to do next. I called my MP but she left already...so it will have to wait until tomorrow morning. Should I file a complain to the Minister? It's not the first time something weird happen in our file. I just feel he'll never land

YardieMy... is he living in kingston? i dont understand why they say its not valid because it was not done in kgn, if he is indeed in montego bay...sounds a way. I went to the DMP in mobay too and she messed up my meds, didnt send all of it in. and as for the pics...you said his pics expired, when did he take them? cause i didnt take over any pics and we filed in 2009

He is living in Trelawny...so it's better for hom to go in MoBay...they just told him that because it was a med redo...he had to have it done in Kingston!!??? As we filed in 2009, the IO asked him to retake the 8 pictures so he has recent one in the file. IO said pics too expired after a year...
What did you do when she messed up you meds to have every thing right?

Yardie...see that does not make much sense because he lives in Trelawny so the closest DMP is in montego bay and there are 2 of them down here. when i redid my meds in 2010 i redid it in mobay...unless they have discredited the DMPs in mobay, and even though there are DMP's in Ochi...so for them to tell him to redo in kingston...that sounds weird...

Awww girl it was one big charade with my meds, lets just say the doc didnt send in my bloodwork, she actually didnt even collect it from the lab. when i went back to her she told me that she sent my redo-meds in and she does not know why they are asking me to redo bloodwork, she even had me worried wondering if something came back wrong on my tests....turns out its the lab that made me aware that the bloodwork was sent to the other DMP in montego bay. So thats when we sorted that out, I went back to her office (pissed off and was going to cuss her out) but didnt see her, i spoke to the nurse who spoke to her and they collect my results and then sent it off.

i tell you this imm process is enough to give us all grey hairs before time.

all you do is try to get your hubby to redo as soon as possible and retake pics...

I wish I had money to send him so he could go to Kington to redo the meds again as they want and get it done with... But we already paid for the redo last week in MoBay... and this week he has he police cert. to redo... just hope my MP will be able to sort it out!

Hi Yardie, this is strange, but i am just wondering, didn't your hubby get the med redo forms. He should, my hubby did his med redo himself. he did get a form from immigration with med redo written on the form with his pictures. sorry to hear about this.
