Morning Forum Family, Thank you all for these wonderful prayers as we really really need them. I know I just got back from see my hubby a few days ago but the depression is setting in again. I pray to the Heavenly Father above to bless us all and to continue his watch over us and to bless the hands working on each and everyone of our files in Kingston as we need to be reunited with our loved ones as soon as possible. I personally am real tired of connecting with my hubby via the telephone and text msging.....I want to be able to reach out and touch my man.

COME ON KINGSTON DO SOME WONDERFUL THINGS THIS WEEK AND CALL FOR PASSPORT PICKUPS AND PP DROP OFFS!!!!!

Good morning peeps, a brand new week, hope everyone is irie today. Some good news is needed we think, til then some humour



On their first night together, a newlywed couple go to change. The new bride comes out of the bathroom showered and wearing a beautiful robe. The proud husband says, "My dear, we are married now, you can open your robe." The beautiful young woman opens her robe, and he is astonished."Oh, oh, aaaahhh," he exclaims, "My God you are so beautiful, let me take your picture. Puzzled she asks, "My picture?" He answers, "Yes my dear, so I can carry your beauty next to my heart forever".

She smiles and he takes her picture, and then he heads into the bathroom to shower. He comes out wearing his robe and the new wife asks, "Why do you wear a robe? We are married now." At that the man opens his robe and she exclaims, "oh, OH, OH MY, let me get a picture". He beams and asks why and she answers, "So I can get it enlarged!"

my ecas changed again to medical results received so i am hoping that this time they are not screwing with me and hubby... gonna keep my fingers crossed for good things to happen before i leave kingston

Good day family, my ecas has changed again to medical received, sure hope this is a good sign.

I'm a little confused. We've never had an update saying "medical recieved." Even though we submitted it. Is something wrong? We submitted his medical with the original app but it appears as though some of you submitted medicals following submission of your app. Is this true? Is kingston requesting repeat medicals if there is a time lapse? Should we be doing this before they request it to avoid delays or do some people get away with not repeating? :-[

ebonyshine - my dear as far as i can see most people actually do the medical before the submission of application since you would need to include the receipt in the application as well.

chukie i tell u im hoping they are not screwing around again... but i mean they did say they would call back soon... imma ask hubby in a few minutes when i call him if i can go check in his email to see if he received anything from them since thursday we emailed and fax them a scan copy of the medical since they misplaced the other one lol... i was hoping that they had received it and changed it back cause of that....

ebonyshine... medical received usually mean that you are in final stage processnig but since jan. 25 looks like cic having a hard time with ecas... don't worry if yours has not been updated cause a lot of members only update upon landing... most members sent the medical with the application i believe so it wouldnt matter... in my case i sent it when i received my letter from cic that i was accepted as a sponsor... my lawyer had advised me to wait as a lot of times you have to redo it so he advised to wait last minute to do it.... so hubby had went just before we sent the application but the medical i had not received yet so i sent it back to jamaica which was a waste of money if you ask me...

lol soanxious.. trust mi mines wasnt diamonds lol made me go to toronto 4 times... then send me a bill of close to 600 for photocopies and long distance calls... i was so angry cause i had asked if i should do the photocopies on my own he had said no then his assistant sends me a bill for photocopies... i was able to talk my way out of that one and he told the assistant she shouldnt of charge me for that but i was still upset and insulted that i received that bill....
