Hubby got a call this morning from immigration...his interview date is set for mid November as well..they also said they would email him and what to bring in...

Hi all, so through being on the forum I have received so much information that I'm trying to utilize to stay ahead of KVO. So I have been sending in all sorts of information to them like medicals for non accompanying dependants, birth certificates, affidavit for non accompanying dependant who's mother refuses to allow him to do a medical. I have tried to request extention of medical...basically just trying to keep everything on file current before they can even request it. I want to thank you all for the support its truly a blessing.

Is that required? Or requested often? Medicals for non accompanying dependents?

It is required. unless an affidavit is signed.

Even with a signed affidavit (my case), they still requested it for the interview and emailed it in the confirmation for the interview that they wanted proof that the child had undergone a medical. They even sent a prefilled medical letter with the email containing all the child's info to take to the doctor. We clearly documented that we weren't able to get the child examined and had the statement sworn by a JP and they still called and asked.
