If my hubby isn't here by November it will be our 2nd anniversary that we've missed together. This is so unfair. How can they keep families apart for so damn long. It's not supposed to like this at all....you are right Nini.

I am beyond frustrated right now, I want answers and of course I am not getting them at all. All emails i've sent to Kingston and my MP the past month have gone unanswered. Ususally my MP gets back to me and nothing.

So I guess I sit here and wait until our lottery numbers are called and my hubby can come home. Yes...I am getting pissed, I don't want to be doing this anymore. There is NO WAY that it should be taking this long to look at application, issue a Visa and allow our spouses to come home.

Sorry guys. I am not usually the downer on here but sometimes I just need to vent.

Vent as much as you want you bee patiently waiting n still nothing yet! I feel for you hon n I wish we all come true soon

Did you check with the UCI + your family name + your date of birth + your country birth...? It has to be your info not your husband info. The website site works properly this morning.

I think presently everyones are in limbo, depression, downs, everything negative because this summer has been so slow...September soon there and Kingston will accelerate, well we hope so. Just try to think about yourself and do something that u not used to do to make the time going faster. Last week my husband was about to give up on the process I was so down and sad...so I have decided to paint my bathroom and livingroom just to make a little joy in my life during this hard time...while this time hubby went to a car show all the weekend and the result is that the week going good and we are happy....we have to wait anyway so....find something special or different to do , it helps !

k now im honestly suuuuuuuper confused... why would i put in my info when the UCI number is from my husbands info and file from kingston. my friend got in because i asked her to check with my husbands info, and she got in no problem. she sent me a picture of the info, all it said was application received and medical results have been received. i just dont understand why i cant see it for myself! and i see that they update every tuesday so i was curious to see even tho i know nothing has changed.

Usually it's because you're entering something wrong (even when you don't realize it). I had to just give up one day, clear the cookies in my browser and try again when I calmed down my frustrations. It worked then.

For sure, there is insane amounts of stress for everyone. I mean, imagine how hard it is for people who are hitting the one year mark... now quadruple that for people who have PASSED the one year mark (since Kingston got their file) and even had people get PPR before them, though they applied after.

I truly wish there was a better process to this entire thing, but unfortunately, I doubt that will happen.

i've tried everything lol i'm giving up on driving myself mad with this online status check.

one year mark is here and i truly am thankful for the time already behind us but there really needs to be a a better way!

thank god we have eachother to vent to, discuss with and help out any way possible.

If you are using the UCI number from your sponsorship approval letter, then that is all of your info that you enter - your name, DOB and county of birth. You can use the F number - which is yours husbands info as well. This is also found on the SA letter. If you happen to have your husbands UCI you can also use that.

ECAS is DUMB sometimes and doesn't always work. You can see the same info using either your husband info your yours. Like Nini said...try and clear the cookies on your computer. There is also an APP for the iphone that will check this info for you if you want to use that. It's called "Canada Status Checker" it gets updated as soon as ECAS is.

Hey Everyone, So Mr. Parkin is in MoBay redoing his PC (he went last week but didn't get through) and just called and said he's been in a line way on the outside since before 8 am -- says it's totally packed in there...gosh, I hope he gets through today...but it's not looking too good. ???

Did Mr. P. get through at the police station the other day? My hubby has to re-do his at some point, his expired last month. When he got the first one in October it took him 3 days. Finally got through on the 3rd day after waiting in line from 5 am till noon. What an absolute gong show they have going on there!!
