Hi Everyone!

I've been a little worried about my husband adjusting when he gets here but most of all concerned about him getting good work in Hamilton. Have any of you started looking for different opportunities for when your husband arrives?

If it was up to me I would love for him to get government/city work :)
wishful thinking i know!

Let me know your thoughts,

Z

Good afternoon Zoey,

We will be searching for a plumbing job once hubby arrives but he will look for something else if plumbing doesn't come up. A few people he knows have some jobs lined up for him so we shall see. My husband finished up his plumbing course in JA last year.

I know!! I promised my husband that I would do my best to live, and concentrate on my new job. He says, the wait whatever the length is worth the lifetime. He is so simple in the way, he thinks. I complicate it, with what if's. I drive him crazy and he says always i am not easy. But as Bob Marley says...

When I called yesterday they seem so chilling on the phone and talk about quiet. Like really are they doing work or sleeping on the job

That's so disheartening - you would think after the strike they would make all efforts to work hard and reunite families. Sometimes I wonder whether they even care?...not likely.

HAHA!!! My hubby says the SAME to me all the time...our hubbys think the same way...he's always so positive thinking and I feel like this negative ninny all the time, but I think he's more 'head in the clouds' and i'm more of a 'realist'...ninny... ::)

You would think they have no hearts honestly. They would make a spouse miss the birth of their child, let a child with a disability be away from the only father he knows nd deport the wife's husband, let a daughter in law not be able to go to canada to see her mother in law cuz she's sick. A few examples no heart they could careless.

Yes keep busy as much as you can but after awhile the patience starts running low.
