Update so I just received my GCMS notes.
Eligibility: passed
Security: blank
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed
Info sharing: complete
Final: approved
I’m hoping all that means good things
Can anyone tell me why my security might be still blank? Also does “final: approved” basically mean it’s actually approved?

Hello,

My AOR is June 30
Biometrics Nov 6
Express Entry Inland

I called IRCC VM and they said my Eligibility and background is still under review.

Is it something to worry about?

Any information is appreciated

Thank you in advance

Did you ask agent what is under review? I think you should order GMSC note to find exactly what is under review

You can get better understanding if checked the Security under the Admissibility section and check when the security started
Also you can check the Notes at the last section you should have two officer reviews one for the eligibility and one for the final decision

It has no impact and IRCC has already clarified this.

"
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
"

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

All documents have to be valid as on the date you submit the application.
Thank you very much. We're so blessed to have you and @caipsnotes around.

Hi @legalfalcon can we work on old sin after COPR?
No, you have to obtain a new SIN. SINs for TR workers are separate from those given to PRs and Citizens. However, until you receive the new SIN, you can continue to work, but update it as soon as you get a new one.
