Can a friend of mine (living in Canada as a PR) order GCMS notes for me given that I provide him the consent form? What is the usual take on that procedure and how to do it? Or do you suggest ordering them straight from getgcms?

RC code of CPC Ottawa is 9515. RC-6262 is CIO Sydney, NS. Security check is merely limited to travel history. They go through your online and offline activities. I may sound cheesy but I would recommend you to watch a new Hollywood movie called "Mile 22", you will see security agents are going through social activities of suspects. There is a list called "Tuscan" by USA which includes about 680,000 names which Canada also uses https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jun/21/canada-us-tuscan-anti-terrorist-database-at-borders . I am not here to scare you or others. I am just sharing information. You should order CBSA notes and be sure that you are not in SS.

Hope you get PPR soon.
Ya my bad on RC Code, its 9515. There is nothing cheesy about it, I am aware that they do all sort of databases and social profiling under security. There are various US and UN databases in addition to canada to other country MOUs.
I have ordered 3rd set of GCMS today and would rather confirm the latest status before going on to CBSA cause despite of people telling me I am not convinced that my application is under SS.
Thanks for your wishes @Ishq

‘and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to the minimum’! What kind of a reply is that?? Seriously sucks right? I wonder who trains the staff at CIC - certainly need to introduce some modules on etiquette in their staff routine!
So sorry to see how they’re fobbing us off with pointless replies, considering our security hasn’t started - and both you and the spouse have zero foreign travel history! Hope they wake up and start processing your file soon - sheesh! You must be tired of these auto replies...
Actually I wasn't expecting much from them so I guess it ok. But yes the wait is unnerving and such reverts add to the pain.
Bottom line it does sucks.

Can you think of any reasons as to why you could possibly be put under SS or you believe there's none ?

Thank you for teaching me a new word “ fobbing” . I don’t come across it often. :)

I do not find any reasons either through information on GCMS, CSE, Call or Mail. And am quite confident as of now but have ordered another GCMS set to see if any further movement has happened on my case or if I could find a reason to doubt my belief of SS.

Your signature ended when you raised the 2nd GCMS. Have you received It?
