You're the second or third person on this forum that they told to get back to them in an additional 4 months time if nothing changes.
Seems like they are gonna increase processing times to 10 months.
Count me also...I also got the same response yesterday

I can see the progress bar now with the same 20% message :( I am also feeling we might not get PPR soon.
When I asked about progress bar,the agent said that you may not be able to see it as your file is approved and only further communication from the designated visa office is pending.
I suppose you should not worry about the progress bar and related mails.

Took same actions as you. Last time I called CIC was December 5. Agent said file is still in Sydney and didnt mention a secondary VO. Ordered notes on Nov 17 so they should arrive in the next week. Agent also told me she will put in a request since I have passed 6 months. The reply i got for CSE says a decision has been taken on my account and rest assured I will be contacted with the decision by the designated office.

In addition, I am not getting any progress bar related mails. Are you getting them? Just curios...
No i didn't get any progress bar or mail reg it
I don't think progress bar is relevant for us. Maybe for applications which are submitted recently.

I did not receive any email related to the progress bar but this morning a boring linear full blue colored progress bar appeared in my account with a message which is basically saying I am in the unfortunate 20% group whose application takes longer than six months to process.

But IRCC confusing themselves. Their immigration and citizenship act saying six months starts from R10 and ends when a decision is made but here they are counting six months from AOR date!!

I was totally uninterested in this over-hyped progress bar hence did not worry at all regarding not receiving emails related to it. Raised CSE today as I have completed 6 months yesterday but seeing @CoolSandy 's GCMS notes and @shishirkona 's CSE reply I am not very hopeful to get anything fruitful. I am afraid we are not going to receive PPR until Feb-March next year!
It looks like we have to reset our brains to how we used to be when we were in IP1. Bracing ourselves for the long wait and moving on with lives

Its visible on my profile now with the standard 20% message. In your CSE response, did they mention anything about decision being made on the application?

I didn't get any progress bar emails (neither the first one telling it is coming, nor the second telling it's already there), but the progress bar has appeared on my account (very useful, I found it very hard to count 6 months from AOR /s). Raised CSE, reply was pretty uninformative, saying that the application is still in process (it could very well mean it is approved and PPR needs to be sent) without giving any specifics or even current VO.

In your CSE reply, did they say anything about a decision being made on the application?
No they said it was in progress
But my gcms notes said its approved. But since ppr and copr not yet done, one field application status shows in progress

Mine said a decision has been made on the application and rest assured I will be contacted by the designated office with the decision.

I guess its interpreted by the way agent sees it. If decision is made, agent said the same to you and yet if ppr is not sent, agent said in progress to me

Just a blue bar with expected completion as December 3. In the application status on the top left, it says my application is in the 20% and is taking longer than usual!
No use then

Yes I guess thats it! The responses are agent specific so no point analyzing them too much... I am thinking what to do now that there is a chance of this being dragged till April...
