So they do not update us when they initiate BGC?? Because i am stuck at same messgae and eligibility is also under review since 4 july. Is it possible that they have initiated BGC ?because my MEP was 11june

I don’t understand what’s taking them so long. Student visas are done by different officers. So are visitor visas.Just trying to stay positive but everyday same status is not appealing to eyes anymore.

Just consider you were also a potential applicant once and waiting for ITA. Will help put things in perspective.

Yes, thats correct. The BGC of criminality and security is actually in progress with the concern agency. This may take some time, meanwhile a junior agent assesses your eligibility and marks recommended passed. The VO awaits all 3 status updates to review the case and finalize the decision.
