Hey guys, i got an email confirmation regarding the receipt of my application from cic yesterday.
But i left questions 3b and 3c blank (other names used).
Do u think they will return the package?

Don't worry too much I left those blank and my application is not returned.

They send emails now?!

Some of us got emails to confirm the receipt of applications, but they did not mention when the apps will be processed. We got emails since our cases may take longer time to get active Ecas due to high vol of apps in June.

Received AOR and study guide in mail Today September 10. Was sent from Sydney Aug 26

Are you able to check status in eCas? Is it possible to get the AOR but nothing in ecas?

There's one line that says "Received" and another that says "In Process".
The 1st one usually disappears after a while

Ok, but which one is the one people link its disappearance with the transfer of the application.
the payment receipt one or the whole application receipt date one?

I am able to check my status in ECAS.
Using client id i get not no results
I then used my Payment receipt number by selecting Receipt Number(IMM 5401).
It provided me results.Again until last week receipt was giving no results as well.So definitely after the email this is now visible.

so for those folks who received a email and still no ecas status try out with receipt.

You should have received it in your email while doing online payment.

You don't receive anything in your email when you pay the fees, rather you need to PRINT THE RECEIPT before you log out. one copy for you and one to be included with the application

Well, I just verified mine and it is with subject line "CIC Receipt" and was from epayment@cic.gc.ca email id.

Today CIC sends me email in reply of case specific inquiry and asked the details of my all family members. let's see what happens!!

You do receive an email -- check your spam, if not gone already. They send a PDF copy of your receipt.
