Hi Everyone,

While I waiting for Medical request if my working permit about to expire can I apply for study permit so that i can remain in Canada?.

I just receive my AOR! A few months ago, I could not envisage AOR receipt could bring such a wonderful feeling. Having waited for 5 months, it feels just live having my landing completed. I wish everyone (especially those still awaiting AOR) the very best!!!

I am glad to see almost everybody in this thread had his AOR. now what's next? I have been looking around on other threads and I noticed that those who got their MR saw their online status changing from "Application received" to "In process" prior to receive the MR... Averages received the MR 6 months after having filed the app. So somehow in december most of us would have received it. all I hope is that we receive prior the holyday season cuz I am sure CIC employees will leave for vacations starting dec. 21st like most government employees do. So if by that date no ones receives his MR it will definitely be after january 7th when they all come back.
ps: this is my personnal point of view.

I am finally able to log into ECAS this morning. It shows my status as "Application Received". Fingers crossed for MR before Christmas break.

@ssparkles, I think thats correct. Usually, it is a 3 digit number (e.g. 158, 150,120...) but since last few months, they have either changed the format (e.g. for you ML01312) OR they have removed it all together from the AORs (e.g. for Sep applicants, no VO number is mentioned).

Anyways, you can update yours in the table and lets see if there are other people (from June applicants) with a similar format.
