I have raised a webform recently and got the reply as below:
Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification has not been initiated.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

What does "currently valid" mean here? Does it mean that the process is going on or it has been done?

Thanks

If the web form response states that a processing stage is currently valid, then “valid” means as follows; “For a document—legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC” and no further input is needed by the applicant. More often than not Valid can be interpreted as Passed. Background check is a generic term that includes criminality, info sharing and security. Right now security has not started as per the message.

Hello.

When did you raise the webform and how many days it took for the reply?

Hi both of you. I thought there is a biometric exception in place for permanent resident applicants that have given a biometrics in the 10 years? Can you confirm if you have/ have not previously given a biometrics in your prior visa applications? Thank you. Cheers!
