March 17, Ankara Visa office
That's a long time but almost everyone went through this because of the pandemic. But if u go back 2 or three pages on this forum fortunately one person got his ppr and already landed here in canada. That gives me hope that we all will start getting good news soon.

Not true during the pandemic.
Many applications got decision made from March until now still waiting for the ppr.
That's true. I know someone who got his ppr and visa issued and landed a few days ago. Ofcourse we need to keep the pandemic in mind but this recent news has made me really hopeful. Let's hope things picks up for everyone.

Hi. When u check in ecas there are two parts to it. The first one is the status of the sponser when it says decion made it means the sponsor's eligibility has been check out and approved. The second part is permanent residency for the applicant, the decision made on this one means the process of pr and the background checked has been done and a decision has been made. Usually after this part u should recieve an email explaining the desion. From one week until 1 month u should be recieving ppr. If u see that decion made for some times now and have not recieved any email u should contact immigration asking for an update on ur status. Dont forget to check the applicant email u might get the ppr in there and not notice it. Check both of sponser and applicant email and spam. If u still dont see anything contact them immediately. Good luck
When I check Ecas it only shows the main applicants status
They ask for the application number and details of the main applicant . How do I check the sponsor details on Ecas

You have tow different UCI for sponsor and main applicant. if you want to see the sponsor status you should enter his/her UCI and other sponsor information that it asks.

I cannot give an answer but I attended a webinar from Moscow embassy on various questions. On a different type of visa (I think student but don't recall) they said they would mostly be automatically extending the validity of medical exams, and in some other cases not automatically extending but 'expected' to extend the validity.

So I think there is some hope - at this point only a hope - that they will have a bias to extending the validity of medical exams, particularly if only for a few months.

I think this makes quite a lot of sense and particularly for family class, where the purpose of the medical exam is more limited (mainly dangers to Canadians i.e. communicable diseases) and not about cost of medical care. They are also aware that the processing is not cost-free for government either.

Again, no guarantees and this may not apply at all for cases where medical results are much more out of date. (And as this drags on the results will only get more out of date)
There is no way to guarantee

Same way choose check the statues of your application and follow the instructions like u should choose family sponsorship, click on online tool

Click on check ur application status, than what did u apply for (family sponsorship) continue, bring down the page and click on online tool where it says both you and the person sponsoring can check the statues of ur application by using our online tool, it will bring u to the security agreement check the box and click on continue, now this last part fill in the sponsor's information. I choosed unique client identifier, and entered the sponsor's uci number, than enter sponsor's last name ( sometime its sensitive in this part I had to put all letters in capital, so u might have to try both small and capital letter to see which one works fir u, not everyone had the same experience ofcourse), than enter sponsor's birthday and place of birth, so everything u enter has to be sponsor's info not the applicant than click on continue.
It's all done bring down the page u should be able to see both sponsor application status and permanent residence application statues. Good luck
