Sometime in the past I was contemplating a move to Mississauga. I am so glad I did not pursue this plan. The spreadsheet looks horrifying indeed - no updates since spring.

I got my FP done on the 26th September through Commissionaires. RCMP had completed the FP report within 48 hrs and sent it directly to
IRCC. If you get it through your local police station, RCMP sends the report to you. So you need to post it to IRCC which delays the process by a few days.
Anyways I've noticed that FP doesn't really have a big impact to processing time. (just my opinion)

Yes, you did the right decision. Its really very hard waiting without any reason, when already stucked for 4 years for PR and again waited additional 2 years for citizenship application.... and now they again changed it again....... Looks like it just came to waste our more time........ Now Mississauga is not even caring / looking at old applicants.
I can totally appreciate that. My patience has been over since long time ago. This is why I did not have any patience to accumulate any buffer over 1461 days. I rushed to the courrier next day after becoming eligible and I am glad I did that because each extra day of wait would cause more delays given the spike of application volume after 3/5. Ironically, I got the test invite on the same day as the Minister's announcement of the effective date for 3/5 so I literally jumped onto an accelerating trainYes, you did the right decision. Friends, please update - "decision made" today, October 28th. Yay! Woohoo!
I really don't get this urgent processing thing. Koor had to wait 1 month before his decision made with urgent processing and I am getting it in 2 days despite having no "buffer" and having citizenships of countries that are not the biggest friends of the West.
The wait for oath has officially started! I am glad we have a big Ottawa gang here (with koor, scorpio007, bhanump) so we can share news. I checked the website and there are no ceremonies scheduled at all so far for Ottawa.

Hello, I got my test invite last week for test on Nov 2. I have a question regarding what to bring with me. On the notice to appear it says all the original documents that support my citizenship application as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form. Does that mean, I also need to bring two photos, application form, fee receipt etc? Thanks!!
