Congratulations Adame. I am truly amazed at these timelines for some of the people, as I have seen a few of my friends, who applied in the last 2-3 years taken almost one and half year from the date of application to the oath taking ceremony. I am not sure if something has changed at CIC, or is there anything we can single out for these applicants maybe no time spent outside canada? I have seen single as well as family applicants getting to Test and Oath within 6-8 months so family status doesn't seem to be a factor.

Any thoughts friends?

In the end, I feel happy for our friends, who are just round the corner to attain canadian citizenship, and wish that everyone of us in the queue gets it soon as well

Just learnt from the CIC agent that my file was transferred to the Mississauga Office on January 21.

Does anybody has any idea how long on average, the file stays with the local office?

I think you would get test in 1-2 months. Mississauga office is fast.
