Keep the updates coming guys, I had an old sponsorship application under ecas, it disappeared this Tuesday but no news yet, a bit strange but fingers crossed.

E-cas updates stays for 6 months after completion of application. When your sponsered person is landed in Canada, 6 months from then e-cas status stays and after that disappears.

My ecase has been updated today with the following:
Application Received: July 11, 2013
AOR sent: July 11, 2013
Application in process; September 27, 2013.
Looking forward to hear good news about July Applications and help in any way I can.

Thank you that makes perfect sense, the old application was exactly 6 month old. Current application is a family one, will it show under my wife's name on ecas, waiting....

Interesting, your timeline and previously posted one show that there is no real queue for applications. My guess is they are assigned in small batches (few days long) to different people. Therefore some people will cut the line.

I called today and they said they are opening my application, received on July 5 the and to expect ecas this week, we are a family of 4 ... So it could be they are extremely busy, too many batches and family takes more time, fingers crossed

That's crazy, 2 weeks delay comparing to applications received on July 19th...

Yes, it was delivered to CIC on July 19th during the morning.

My ecas was finally updated on the 9th, so it took 3 month and 4 days in my case, I don't think the line is getting shorter
