Yeah we were requested again for FP and BG moved to In progress. Sorry you are saying you resubmitted the FP and no update ?

no my bad, I phrased that poorly. Since I have not had an update since April (to move the citizenship test to complete, but before my BG check of May 2021 expired) it still shows BG as completed. However what I meant is that I expect it to go back to in progress in the next update, hopefully soon. And then they may ask for new fingerprints or passport page scans. but this has not happened for me yet, i have received no request or anything so far.

Congratulations on your oath being scheduled!!! Very exciting to finally have a date!!!! Nice to know they are still working away at scheduling oaths during the summer months, although it might seem a little slower Hopefully many more of us will have good news soon.

Slowly coming to an end; Friday noon, my wife and I were interviewed by an IRCC agent to verify our identity. Yesterday we have seen the old ECAS tracker status updated to Decision Made for both of us.

The interview took ~5 minutes for us, and the agent told us he could finalize both in one Teams call. We were asked to show our PR card, Driver's Licence, Health Card and Bio page of passports to the camera first, then brief questions about what we are doing and any travel history. (no, we did not travel during the application period) And we were told in a few weeks we will get an oath invite and brief info about the process.

Our application is still being processed by the SCR office, I wish luck and send prayers for everyone waiting.

Quick question, I have my travel planned scheduled for August and will be coming back after 3 months, if during that duration if I receive OATH scheduled, I know I can ask them to reschedule but can I ask them to schedule it after certain number of weeks or so ? TIA

Ottawa application here. Applied in January 2021. Passed citizenship test April 3, 2022. Received DM on June 7 2022. Just updated today with oath scheduled on August 3rd! Received the email from Niagara Falls at 8:03pm tonight (same day as oath update) with the details. Virtual citizenship oath at 1:15pm! Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Hurray! (Niagara Falls is doing a lot of the virtual oath scheduling as the Ottawa office had a big backlog.) Hopefully others start getting movement and good news soon!

Typically they will ask you to email them once you have physically arrived back in Canada (as they don't want to bother scheduling a second time if you aren't 100% for sure in Canada), and then they'll schedule you're oath. Sometimes they might accept proof of return ticket, and then they will schedule it for after you are scheduled to return. Depends on the person maybe on when they reschedule it.
