They did not change. They have been there even before your application was even assessed for eligiblity.

Honestly, I don't remember but I think it has been the same. What does it have to do with the file if you could tell me?

Also, what is your most recent update?
Thank you for your response.

What I have seen in the forum is if your background check changes from "We are processing ..." to "Your application is in progress..." you passed your eligibility or at least recommended pass. This is just an observation, and not an official status check or IRCC has not said anywhere about this I think.

My most recent update was medical exam passed and now medicals are expired waiting for IRCC response/action on that. I am an FSW -O with OCT 2020 AOR.

Good luck to all of us! Stay safe!

Hello all,
Joining the party a bit late. Covid delays and anxiety kicking in now . Glad to see a lot of valuable info here. Sharing my details as well.

ITA: Nov 18th 2020
AOR: Jan 5th 2021
Medicals Passed: Feb 2nd 2021
Biometrics completed: March 5th 2021
Stream: FSW

No updates after this.

I'm an Indian citizen residing in India.
Wife is the primary applicant. Myself and our 2 children are the dependents.

We applied for GCMS notes through a cousin in Canada on July 12th 2021.
No updates on that as well.

Any FSW Outland applicants here who got their COPR ?

Hi @legalfalcon and everyone,
I am a FSW-I candidate with AOR on January 28.
I have two questions that I want to ask your advice:
1. I did an upfront medical exam on January 27, 2021. Do I need to re-do the medical exam before January 27, 2022 while waiting for the final decision on my application? (if the final decision has not been made by then) If I need to, how can I send the IRCC the new medical result?
2. The manager who writes my employment reference letter will retire by December 2021. Do I need to inform the IRCC their new contact information which may differ from the one printed in the letter? If so, how can I let them know?
Thank you in advance!

See #13,190

1. If you get an upfront medical done, you will have to submit the upfront sheet to IRCC via webform.

2. No.

Please explain the info sharing as I am anxious about the same. What do they check in info sharing ? I mean info sharing for AUS, NZ shows NRT status but for USA, there are two statuses, 1. Compete - Not Reviewed 2. Ready to be assessed. What do they check ? I once applied for visitor visa for USA 3 years back but the same was rejected.

Also, as per GCMS report, nobody touched the file since april, Eligibility - Not started, Security - Not Started, Criminality - Passed.
BTW, I am FSW - O.

AOR - 2nd March, 2021.

Country of residence - India

Please help @legalfalcon

Thank you in advance.

Hi @legalfalcon, I hope ur doing well. I got my pr confirmation last june, and got married this August, I haven’t received my pr card until now, Im planning to change my name since i got married. My question is:

1. Is it ok to process the “change name” even i haven’t received the 1st one?

2. Im confused on how to fill up the IMM5444e on travel history. is says “list all your absences from Canada in the last five (5) years, or since becoming a permanent resident if less than five (5) years ago.” - im not here yet in Canada 5 years ago, do i have to put the country that I lived in before? or do i have just to put my travel history when I became a peremanent resident?

Thanks so much

Please answer @legalfalcon

So my PR file is in progress and currently, the Eligibility and Security steps are not started.

My question is, my family has bought a new house and we will be moving in a month or two. Moreover, the current house will still be family-owned and it's 100 metres away from the new house.

Do I need to inform IRCC about this address change whenever it happens? I am not sure exactly when we move, but mostly in a month or two. Also not sure when my PR file would be processed.

Please note that, my passport is registered with the current house address and I will be able to access any couriers with no hassle whenever we move to the new place since it's very close to the old house.

Thanks.

If you are in the same a city and country, you do not need to inform IRCC.
